Harmony Workshop

Like to sing, listen to, and make harmony? On Saturday, October 25th from 3:30PM-6PM at the Junction in Orange you'll have a good opportunity. This ear and voice workshop will focus on some of the principles that make vocal harmony great. We'll touch on breathing, vocal production and resonance, vowel matching and building chords to maximize the great "buzz" and "goosebump" feel that comes with good harmonic production. We'll also learn some harmonic devices that add interest to a song and we'll sing some chords you may never have heard before. We may even take some tunes you've never heard and try to "woodshed" some harmonies to them. There will be a paper handout on some of the theory, but mostly we'll learn by singing and hearing.
